We are a batch of 2019 studying masters in Product Design from The National, Institute of Design, Ahmedabad. System design is often considered to the the zenith project of our course which would define our core values as a designers at least 5 years down the line.
We were concerned about the online mode of systems project (which usually consist of cross pollination, extensive discussion, debates, mind mapping on softboards) due to pandemic. Lucky enough to have two amazing faculties (one being the director himself), we started off the course having these tools in our hand:

We were asked to ponder around the question "What is your expectation from system design project?".
A holistic approach to solve bigger problems using design thinking which can make a better world.
So what do you mean by wicked problems ?
A wicked problem is complex in more than one aspects (social / cultural / economical / political / technological / legal) whose solution and problem is unknown and there is no end to its timeline. Super wicked problem is when time is running out.
